Overall the new features that were mentioned as being required are:

Conventient and ease of open and closing of enclosure
Laser diode to aid in alignment (precise with direction of actual laser)
Enclosure to block light/oil/damage
Stand up and bolt in place
Keep laser tube positioned inside
Place for enclosure to extend to next mirror
Ventilation for power supply
Indicatior that power is on
Safety interlocks/key switch
Materials: galvanized steel, anodized aluminum, or PVC?
Presented new ideas that should be added to the current enclosure:
Triagonal stabilizer instead of hose clamps to secure the laser tube in place.
Legs should be added to ensure stability
Vibration dampening with rubber feet or plastic inserts
1/4” tolerance in laser beam alignment
Minimize number of axes to ensure reliable alignment
