Lifting Bed

One of the projects for this class involved designing a lifting bed that would rise, and reveal a table below it, thus saving space in small apartments. I played a large role in the design of this bed.

The Project

My final project for my Digital Logic Design class was creating a a copy of the game Helicopter using only digital logic. Sequential and combinational logic was employed to get the final result.

Shown above is the final circuitboard, without the display. This display, as seen in the icon that got you to this page was a 16×16 array of red LED's, with a single 16×1 column of green LED's. The red LED's functions as the cave, while the green LED's functioned as the helicopter. Usin…

The Project

For this project, my group and I were tasked with designing a new Impact Attenuator for the formula hybrid electric vehicle at Cooper. After much material and geometry testing, we finally settled on using a two part expanding polyeurathane foam, with a simple design. This design proved to be lightweight, easy to create, but also well within strictly set safety guidelines.

The Project

For this class, my group's main project was to create a trebuchet that could compete in The World Championship of Punkin Chunkin. This project was perfect for a group of engineering students, as it allowed us to study design, prototyping, materials, and real world fabrication.
