This drawing summarizes The Phase 1 of the concept. At this phase, total of 10 concepts(jellyfish type, droplet type, face extension type, dolphin type, whale type, fictional engineering type, shark type, tuna type, carp type, sunfish type) were first studied and then morphed into 7 concepts. Note that the fictional engineering type was still being studied and was not drawn in this page.
This drawing summarizes the Phase 2 of the concept. At this phase, 7 concepts from previous stage were again studied and several concepts were made by mixing the strengths of each concepts. Knowledge from propulsion system research was also added. This knowledge helped to design the fictional engineering type. This concept has a relatively high-angled slope between the body and the tail for ducted fan exhaust.
Tadpole type was also introduced during this stage. This concept was derived from the geometry of internal instruments and shape of a tadpole.
This drawing summarized the Phase 3 of the concept. At this phase, all concepts from the Phase 2 were studied and morphed in to one single concept that incorporates the strengths of each concept. This concept includes rounded head, moderate-angled slope between tail and body for ducted fan exhaust, and generally more rounded features for fins to prevent fins poking children's face in water.
