Got the Color Sensor (ADJD-S311) with in-built evaluation board. Tested with green colors.
Result: A little unstable. May need to slightly modify the color definitions in the .h file,
but also need to test with gumballs and in different lightings.
Began construction of gumball machine casing. Completed frame skeleton in 1x2s.
Finalized machine layout.
Met with Mike to discuss progress. Next steps are continuing to build mechanical components and test coding.
Jackie worked on the mechanical prototypes and Gary worked on the Arduino coding for various devices.
Color sensor was very unstable and accidentally fried it, so need to purchase a new, better one.
Met and discussed ways to increase interactivity. Settled on a "choose you own
adventure" path game where the user determines the fun-ness of the gumball's path.
Skill, luck, and timing are involved.
Gumballs arrived! Talked to Professor Lima about the direction the gumball machine
should take: more interactive or more independent of player.
