Meant to show a center double sided 45degree miter gear running off of the main crank shaft. We modified our team design to fit the recommended “Russian Missle” style of one particular team member. It was agreed that having a center rod driving multiple gears would provide for more powerful torque and less delay problems within meshing gears.

We are still trying to work on getting the our number of gear meshes down and will do so before the first edit which is due on Friday March 30th 2012.
