Frequency: frequency of movement

Strain Increments: Peak to trough amplitude. What percentage of the sample thickness to extend the motor shaft by on each step. The starting point is the position of the motor when the run test button is pressed.

Number of Steps: How many strain increment steps are performed.

The motor may fail to reach a large amplitude on a 1Hz test. Leaving the range of the LVDT is possible.
