In these sketches I meddled with the idea of mass storage of preservation units. Waste disposal and Fluid storage for use as input could all be communal.

Gravity could do all the work of pumps with fluid coming from above the systems and draining out the back into the plumbing or some sort of wast disposal system. This would allow for nice presentation of shelves in a storage room.

On the right I show the possibility of status displays that could present some data like temperature and length of preservation so far and assure the system is secure.
