====Assignment 2==== Below is a picture of my idea of an interesting physical fitness room. \\ The idea is developed from several concepts of human nature: \\ *One is that people have a natural inclination of going the opposite way *As seen in beginning portion of the circuit, the person doing the exercise begins by going against an escalator *In addition: the circuit is built so the runner can run against the conveyer belt *Unlike traditional treadmills, the runner is able to move in a forward direction *By placing automatic doors at key separation walls, allows the runner to have motivation to move on *Second is that doing exercise while having fun *The runner presets the time of his or her exercise (after running up an escalator) by presetting a certain chapter of a movie *The chapter will run if and only if the runner is doing exercise *In addition each exercise area is made to improve the quality of your movie enjoyment *The "bike area" is made so that the biker plays a game of "tag" *The gooal of the biker is to capture his or her own movie to be watched during the remainder of the exercise *The wait lifting section is designed to enhance the quality of the movie *Everytime the person lifts the weight, the quality becomes slightly better *If the exercising person stops or gives up (riding the conveyer belt back to original position, the movie will shut off *There is a motivation to come back to exercise, because the exercising person only sees a portion of the movie \\ {{:start:classes:principlesofdesign:igem:a2-1.jpg?250x190direct}} \\ Back to [[start:classes:principlesofdesign:igem:yuta_makita|Yuta Makita]]
