**Wednesday February 1st:** * Group met in "//Lima-lab// " to discuss preliminary sketches * Spoke about psychology of donating and how to take advantage of it for our project * Selected 5 proposed designs for "The Giving Tree" to be presented the following Friday - The Giving Earth - Empty Canvas of Opportunity - Invisible Garden - AVATAR TREE!! - Tree of Music and Soul * Minor ancillary elements of design were suggested, to be added to any of the 5 finalists **Wednesday February 8th:** * Group met in "//Lima-lab// " with Eric Leong * Discussed pros and cons of the current possibilities * Brainstormed on expanding the various ideas, while being restrained practically - Invisible Garden * With limited flowerpots, different groups of donors can be scrolled through. Classification either based on charity or affiliation of donor. * Possible physical representation on flowerpot as well, e.g., name label. * Flowers that are "most recently tended to" are displayed in front, as an incentive to continual donation. - The Giving Earth * No connection to the "fantasy-world" which hooks possible donor into participation. **Wednesday February 15th:** * Group met in "//Lima-lab// " with Eric Leong * Decided temporarily on design.
