**Wednesday February 1st:**
  * Group met in "//Lima-lab// " to discuss preliminary sketches
  * Spoke about psychology of donating and how to take advantage of it for our project
  * Selected 5 proposed designs for "The Giving Tree" to be presented the following Friday
      - The Giving Earth
      - Empty Canvas of Opportunity
      - Invisible Garden
      - AVATAR TREE!!
      - Tree of Music and Soul
  * Minor ancillary elements of design were suggested, to be added to any of the 5 finalists

**Wednesday February 8th:**
  * Group met in "//Lima-lab// " with Eric Leong
  * Discussed pros and cons of the current possibilities
  * Brainstormed on expanding the various ideas, while being restrained practically
      - Invisible Garden
         * With limited flowerpots, different groups of donors can be scrolled through. Classification either based on charity or affiliation of donor.
         * Possible physical representation on flowerpot as well, e.g., name label.
         * Flowers that are "most recently tended to" are displayed in front, as an incentive to continual donation. 
      - The Giving Earth
         * No connection to the "fantasy-world" which hooks possible donor into participation.

**Wednesday February 15th:**
  * Group met in "//Lima-lab// " with Eric Leong
  * Decided temporarily on design. Outlined in [[Photo Mosaic|Mosaic+Tokens]].
  * Wrote problem statement.
  * Discussed timeline and focuses 
  * **Post Meeting-**Agreed to, each person individually, come up with an overarching theme by Tuesday and present it.

**Wednesday February 22nd:**
  * Group met in "//Lima-lab//"
  * Discussed plot of video.
  * Discussed possible themes for project, and what our next action should be.
  * **Post Meeting-**Group video-chatted about video, and each person's responsibilities towards it.
 
**Friday February 24th:**
  * Met with Professor Lima after class.
  * Were advised to focus on individual fulfillment of charity, as opposed to networking and collective experience. At least for now.

**Wednesday February 29th:**
  * Group met in "//Lima-lab//"!
  * Decided to proceed with a variation of the {{:start:classes:principlesofdesign:giving_tree:final2-_flower_pots.jpg?linkonly|flower pots}} idea, to be explained in a new video.
  * **Post Meeting-** Resolved to outline aspects needed to be covered in programming, including information contained in the databases, begin learning android programming, and make more mockups of visual interfaces.


**Wednesday March 7th:**
  * Group met in "//Lima-lab//"
  * Discussed Midterm Presentation
  * Discussed possible plant variations and back-end requirements, including User Info and plant parameters.

**Monday March 19th:**
  * Met with Professor Lima in his office
  * Showed revised version of midterm presentation and got feedback
  * Discussed how to limit scope temporarily in order to get some programming done ASAP

**Wednesday March 21st:**
  * Met in "//Lima-lab//" with Eric Leong
  * Figured out exactly what needed to be done in the preliminary app-building
  * Split jobs into Website/Payment related things to App Interface/AR related things.

**Thursday March 22nd:**
  * Met in room 106 and finished filling out house of quality analysis for the Giving Dream bed-lifter together.

**Wednesday March 28th:**
  * Met in "//Lima-lab//" with Eric Leong
  * Got mentorial help while learning the code necessary for the tasks at hand.

**Wednesday April 4th:**
  * Met in "//Lima-lab//"
  * Fixed up code for newest prototype of app, and prepared to present it.
  * Decided what features were most urgent to be dealt with, and split them up.
