====== Sealing ====== Sealing the dye. ===== Safety ===== Gloves, goggles, and cover-ups must be worn at all times. ONLY ALUMINUM CAN BE IN THE SEALANT TANK, NO OTHER METALS SHOULD TOUCH THE SEALANT. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES. ===== Preparation ===== - MAKE SURE THE PART IS SUFFICIENTLY RINSED BEFORE STARTING THIS PROCEDURE. THE SEALANT TRAPS IN EVERYTHING, INCLUDING UNWANTED OILS FROM FINGERS. - Heat the sealant solution to 176 oF (80 oC). ===== Sealing ====== - Place the part in the sealant for 20 minutes. ===== Rinsing ===== Rinse the part in the DI water making sure to remove all of the excess sealant. Dry the part. Anodization is now complete. ===== Storage of Solution ===== Keep all chemicals separate from one another. Dispose of the sealant in a proper manner (ask Dionne).
